Questions about domain names.
Am I entering a contract?
No, as you pay for the registration upon commencement of a domain names usage, but are under no obligation to renew it in future. The domain name will be for your use, for the time period you have registered it for.
Can I get a refund on a domain name?
No. Unfortunately all domain name purchase’s are non-refundable.
Can I manage my own custom DNS records?
Yes, absolutely. If you have a hosting plan with us, you can do this directly through your cpanel control panel, alternatively, you can set your name servers back to registrar level and manage all your DNS records at registrar level yourself, all through your client area on our website.
How long can my domain name be?
Your domain name must be between 3 and 63 characters long only. You can use letters, numbers and hyphens.
Is there a maximum registration period?
Yes, for .uk names its now 10 years and for most other domains its also 10 years at a time.
What characters am I allowed to use in my domain name?
When selecting a domain name, you are only allowed to use numbers, letters and the hyphen “-”. No other characters may be used at all.

Am I entering a contract?
No, you are free to cancel your shared web hosting renewal at any time prior to its renewal. We would however like to know in advance, as far as possible, as maybe there is something we could help with, such as features or software that you might need, and didn’t realise we could install in a few minutes for you.
Do your servers allow Apache directory setting AllowOverride All?
Yes, this is set to “All” on our shared servers.
Zencart 1.5 and server config?
This version of zencart is absolutely fine, and our servers meet ALL of its requirements listed on their website for all versions of Zen Cart.
