How to modify x-carts homepage text

In order to modify the text on your X-Cart homepage you will need to be logged in as an administrator or use the master account. Once logged in, click on "Languages" from your main menu, once on the edit languages screen, select English from the first box of Languages to edit which opens the entire language file for you to edit. Now, underneath the "edit language" section you will have a "Select Topic" drop down box. Select Text from the list, type in "Welcome" into the filter box and click go. This will now show you all of your websites welcome messages both for your main homepage and your admin sections. you can now edit the text in the big boxes but DO NOT change the text in the description fields. Once you have finished editing the text just click "Apply changes" or "Update all" and your done. |
