Problem:
Rather than use phpAdmin, I use a Windows GUI package (mysqlcc) to connect to my MySQL databases. It needs to know Hostname (as well as User name and password).
Answer:
For security reasons we DO NOT allow ANY remote database connections to any of our servers. We have closed all remote ports to databases on both the servers and our firewalls. To administer your databases, you will need to use phpMyAdmin from your control panel. This also applies to programs like NaviCat
