Once registered, domain names belong to you or your business (*1) for the duration of the registration period and may be used as required. They do not have to be used in conjunction with any other service from WESH UK and if required WESH UK can advise on their transfer to your preferred ISP. No additional fees are charged to arrange their transfer if this is required (*2)
*1 This is an important point to check with other companies who might register domain names for you. Some web design companies registering domain names for you as part of their service will actually register them in their name. This means that they are the legal registrants (owners) of your domain name which can make life difficult if you subsequently want to move the domain name elsewhere or simply update some contact details for the domain. WESH UK ensures that your domain name is registered to you (or your company) from day one. (Unless otherwise requested to protect your privacy)
*2 Another important point to check. Although some companies offer reduced prices to register domain names, there are frequently additional 'administration' costs payable if the domain name is transferred to another ISP which may make the whole process much more expensive than using WESH UK in the first place (Some domain registrars charge up to and over £25 to transfer your domain name). If you're using a company other than WESH UK to register domain names for you, do check the small print.
